Fitted flush mounted panels are variations of flush mounted panels designed to appear continuous within the surrounding Primary framing with no exposed Secondary frame members. This is accomplished by adding 25mm to the width of corner-mounted panels and 50mm to the width of inner panels, thus calling for two different panel sizes. Secondary frame members are recessed to allow for the fitted panels to sit flush within the Primary frame. Foam tape is applied to the outer face of the Secondary framing, along the panel edges, and along mounting angles to provide weather seals. In some cases a 50mm wide spacer strip, usually of wood, may be bolted to the face of the recessed Secondary frame studs to accommodate thinner cladding panels. Attachment of the panels is then completed by bolts or screws attached to angles along the panel back side and the inner edge profile slots.
